ok so I literally just made the best discovery of my artistic career

it’s basically an easy to use pose-making program with a doll. You can pose it in any pose you can imagine and view it from any angle

and this program is entirely FREE

it’s a bit of a thing to get installed and set up so I’ll write a tutorial for it later but

holy shit guys

i made that pose you see up there in like 5-6 minutes. This is fucking revolutionary. I have such a problem with poses and this is a toy that is better than any artist mannequin you can have irl. Holy shit.

So I made this for myself, but I thought I might put it up anyway, in case people want to have a try too. Only very vaguely in chronological order.

Also, just a note that these categories are actually very vague. The Ming Dynasty - a good couple of centuries are in that period, and you could do a noble, a scholar, a musician, a warrior, a dancer, so on? The 1930’s - in Chicago? In London? In Shanghai?

So I’ll be making an attempt at this, but if anyone else is doing it, I’d love to see what you come up with.

I doubt I’ll ever start this one right away but it’d be a good reason to finally research and learn about other fashions (especially since I’m no good with them).

I guess the first thing I should write here is that I am not good at it. at all. I always say whenever someone ask me about anatomy that it’s most of the time kind of random and wrong, and I am bad at explaining things… But many people ask about making a tutorial, so the last few days I kind of feel like trying to make some..
guys it was your idea haha don’t blame me for this nonsense  XD

I was honestly trying my best with all this explaining and drawing and everything, but I still believe there are plaaaaaaanty of mistakes, but I also still hope some of you may find it quite helpful, because I also tried to make it kind of easy for -beginners- maybe?

The ‘tips’ I know are drawn mostly with orange, so it would be visible and clear from the body..

Please remember that I am still learning, so I hope that one day I will be able to do something better than this.. for not, that’s all.
